Accessibility statement

This website is built so that everyone can use it, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or magnification.

  • High contrastSwitch from the top bar. Your choice is remembered.
  • Text sizeA−, A and A+ in the top bar change the size of all text.
  • ListenReads the page aloud in Hindi or English.
  • KeyboardEvery link, menu, tab and chart filter works with the keyboard. A skip link jumps to the main content.
  • Charts as tablesEvery chart has a data table for screen readers, and data can be downloaded.
  • Less motionAnimations stop when your device is set to reduce motion. Moving banners can be paused.

01Standard

The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and the accessibility requirements of the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0).

02Known limits

Some older documents are scanned PDFs and may not be readable by screen readers. On request, we will provide an accessible version within 15 working days.

03Tell us about a problem

If you find a page you cannot use, please tell the Web Information Manager with the page address and the problem you faced. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
