Website policy

How this website is run: who owns the content, how it is reviewed and archived, and the standards it follows.

Last updated: 01 Sep 2026

01Ownership

This website is owned by the District Mineral Foundation Trust, Jamtara. Content is contributed by the DMFT cell and the departments that execute DMFT works, and is published only after approval by an authorised officer.

02Content contribution, moderation and approval

Every item goes through two steps: an editor prepares it in Hindi and English, and a publisher checks and approves it. Every change is recorded in an audit log with the name of the officer and the time.

03Content review

Content is reviewed on the following schedule. The date of the last update is shown on every page.

  • Tenders, notices and press releases: as soon as they are issued
  • Fund dashboard and contributions: every quarter
  • Works and progress: every month
  • Affected villages and people: after each notified revision
  • Policies and static pages: every year

04Content archival

Tenders and notices move to the archive after their closing date and stay available for five years. Annual reports, audited accounts and minutes are never removed.

05Standards

The website follows the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA). It works in Hindi and English, on phones and on slow connections.

06Security and backup

The website is served over HTTPS and hosted in India. Data is backed up every day, and a copy is kept at a separate location. The CMS uses role-based access, strong passwords and login attempt limits.
