01Finding information

Use the menu at the top, the search box, or the sitemap. Every page is reachable in three clicks or fewer from the home page.

  • Search finds notices, tenders and works by title, reference number or block
  • Breadcrumbs at the top of each page show where you are
  • Switch language with the हिंदी / English button; you stay on the same page

02Opening documents

Every download link shows the file type and size. You need these free programs to open them:

  • PDF: any web browser, or Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • CSV data: Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc or Google Sheets
  • Images (JPG, PNG): any web browser

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my village is affected by mining?

Open Affected areas, then Directly affected areas or Indirectly affected areas, and type your village name in the search box.

A work in my village is stopped. What do I do?

Raise a grievance from the home page. You get a reference number, and can check the status with it and your mobile number.

Where can I see how much money DMFT has received?

Finance, then Fund dashboard. You can filter by year, block and sector, and download the data.

How do I apply for a DMFT tender?

Open Tenders and notices for the notice and documents. Bids are submitted online on the Jharkhand e-Procurement portal.

Can I get information that is not on the website?

Yes. Apply under the Right to Information Act to the Public Information Officer. The RTI page explains how.
